This is everything an Airbnb should be! You step into the lake house & immediately feel at home. Heidi welcomes you like family, graciously ensuring the house is stocked with *everything* you could possibly need.
This was the perfect Northwoods location for a quiet winter girls getaway weekend. We loved starting the day off brewing the freshly-ground beans at the coffee bar. The extra large island was perfect for chit chatting & connecting while cooking. And warming up fireside with a glass of wine in hand as the snow fell was magical.
I loved that the property had a dedicated movie room vs a TV up in the open-concept family room kitchen area. This ensured we had actual conversations & didn't just default to screen time. What a gift!
I cannot wait to book a summer week with family. The property is perfect if you've got a mix of introverts and extroverts. There are large open spaces for group hangouts, but also fun little nooks where folks can relax and reset. Highly recommend!!

Absolutely beautiful view- close to the snowmobile trails! Driveway was a little smaller than expected- but we were able to get in there. House was clean and roomy, beds were very comfortable.

Heidi's place was wonderful! Right on the lake with really nice neighbors. We got lots of snow and the view of the lake was absolutely beautiful. We really enjoyed the wood burning fireplace and the kitchen, plus the TV room downstairs. Heidi was extra helpful during a big winter storm and super communicative. Thank you, hoot hoot!

Our family's stay at the Muskie Barn was outstanding. The property was completely clean and matched the listing. the view of the lake was beautiful. The house had every amenity we needed. Heidi was very responsive and extremely helpful with recommendations and answers. We expect to come back in the near future!

What a wonderful place the Muskie Barn is. My family really enjoyed it. The design and decor make it the perfect cabin getaway. Great views of the lake from every area of the home. The giant kitchen island makes it super functional. The stone fireplace was my favorite. We had fires every night. The outdoor space is amazing. All kinds of places around the property to sit and relax plus grilling, multiple decks, firepit, swing, dock...etc. Access to the lake is nice and the dock is perfect. Bluegills are easily caught from the dock for the kids. As the sun sets the fall colors across the lake illuminate which then reflects off the lake. We actually took some family photos by the lake at sunset. The stars at night are pretty amazing as well. We look forward to visiting again.
